Mission Statement

The New Jersey Emergency Medical Services Educators Association is dedicated to promoting quality didactic and clinical education through professionalism, consistency, ethics and experience to students of the emergency medical services throughout the state of New Jersey.

NJEMSEA plans on achieving this mission through advocacy, standards-setting, and by educating EMS leaders, instructors, and providers.

 

Code of Conduct

NJEMSEA members agree to:

  • Conduct training programs ethically according to the objectives and timeframes of the accrediting body for the course they are teaching
  • Be true to course lengths on programs that are time-based, such classes that award Continuing Education Unit (CEU) programs
  • Treat their students with professionalism and respect
  • Treat other trainers, whether superiors, peers, or subordinates, with professionalism and respect
  • Evaluate and test students objectively and fairly according to the guidelines of the accrediting body for the course they are teaching
